Troy has got to be the luckiest QB in the leaque. This guy is going to end up losing a few games with his back yard toss ups as he falls. While he seems to have a really strong arm. He is willing to just fling it no matter what is going on. Wish we had receivers like they do. They are making him look good.

Completely agree. Just wait until Bradford has some talented targets who can actually get separation. But I imagine Spags is gunna be PISSED after seeing the defensive collapse like that. Totally inexcusable, and incredible frustrating to watch as a fan.

I thought that was an insane call by Singletary, but I guess he saw how gassed our defense was. 11 of 12 times, that doesnt work. He should have punted, because I have no doubt the Rams would have had a 3 and out.

The part i dont understand is that we didnt blitz so how was there not someone anywhere near Gore to make a tackle and saving the game? All that b.s talk about Lewis helping our defense was a bunch of crap apparantly. How we gave up 300 yards to a guy who probably will never throw for 300 yds again is beyond me.

They were playing all deep defense and gore slipped out of the backfield if I recall correctly. The receivers too our DBs and LBs down the field cause you want everything in front of you and Smith dumped it to Gore who made one move and got the first down.

Simple...man to man...2 safeties deep. That way everybody is accounted for, and you got help deep from the 2 safeties.

Understood but by keeping everything underneath means not giving up more than 18 yards, terrible defense in my opinion.

I hate the way all defenses go into a prevent when the games there for the taking.
Stick to what has been working all game, stay aggressive. I bet games are put to bed a lot more frequent. The defensive coach's are scared to death, giving the opposing team more of a chance of making a play later in the game.
Id have prefered sending more players at Smith, thus making him throw early and underneath, instead of leaving him unmolested, and wait until someone got open.
It was sickening to watch the Rams go into there shell, when a stop would have got us the win.
