Wagoner Reports
Afternoon Session
-It is much more difficult to glean anything from the afternoon than the morning practice. It is more laid-back, pretty much a glorified walk-through than anything else.
-Damione Lewis is a defensive tackle. He will not be playing defensive end as was suspected earlier in the offseason. The main rotation inside will consist of Jimmy Kennedy, Ryan Pickett and Lewis.
-Lewis said today that the speculation about his playing end and/or tackle was just talk, but he also mentioned that Brian Howard is a more likely candidate to fill that role. That’s why Howard has been seen working against both tackles and guards in one-on-one pass rush drills.
-Some of the more prominent Rams took the afternoon session off. Receiver Torry Holt, running back Marshall Faulk and defensive lineman Tyoka Jackson were among the group getting the afternoon off.
-The Sunday afternoon practice also marked the first time the heat has caused the Rams to move practice inside. St. Louis went through a brisk hour and a half workout which involved a little of everything. The Rams even broke out the volleyballs again in special teams drills, this time for practice blocking kicks.

Hmmm....Seems you rarely see blocked kicks anymore in the NFL.
