Rams are 7-8......I for one was not too optimistic on the season after Sam went down. This team is on the verge of greatness! Sam back and good draft......and we have the DEFENSIVE stud of the league in Quinn..... Awesome!!!
A win next week and we are a half game improved from last years record with a younger team and a backup QB!
Winning @ Seattle will be a tall order next week, particularly if the Seahags fail to beat the Cards tonight.
But still, 7-9 is better than I expected after Bradford went down.
definitely a better team than the record indicates at the end of the season
This was a big win in my opinion because were favored to win and we handled prosperity well. Even though we we favored in other games like AZ (game #1) and Jax most of our wins this season came as upsets or surprises. This shows what a good coaching staff we have that was able to motivate us when there was nothing but pride on the line. Hopefully we can win next week to get to 8-8. Regardless we are going into the off-season with some momentum that will infuse us going into next season where we will be expected to contend for the playoffs.
I just saw the stats. When was the last time Kellen threw for more yards than the opposing QB? I'm not sure that has happened yet. Of course I could be wrong. Nice win and I hope the Jake Long injury isn't too serious. This could shape the draft plans slightly.
Seahawks are having a hard time putting points on the board despite 3 picks from Carson Palmer. Hope we bring our A-game against them.

Your beat still laments the world
It's hard to believe the Rams have now matched their win total from last year, when you consider...
-They lost Bradford halfway through the year.
-The running game struggled out of the gate and was one of the worst in the league.
-By most fan accounts, the defense has regressed this year.
-The offense experienced a big change in philosophy mid-season to try and improve their efficiency.
When this team is running on all cylinders, with another offseason's worth of talent on board, it's going to be very fun to watch!
I'd also like to point out, who thought we would be 7-8 with a backup QB, with a potential 2nd pick at the beginning of the season?
