    # 80?

Since Issac Bruce hasn't retired. He has decided to continue his career with the dreaded Whiners.

Will the RAMS allow the #80 as an option for another RAMS player?

I certainly hope not. As soon as he retires (which can't be that far down the road), it should be hung from the rafters.

I agree, pack it away and don't let anyone else wear it.

I thought it would have been retired after Ellard, but it wasn't- so who's to say?

I'd say....let me wear it when we have our game at the ED....then retire it.

Bruce said that as soon as he leaves the Rams they should retire it and put it in the rafters...

    with Ellard's name underneath it

I think all Clanram members should get wear it for one week and then retire it.

Can you retire a number twice.......that is to say, let Ellard and Bruce hang side by side?

I'd say do it.. kill two birds with one stone.. and it won't tie up any additional numbers.

For sure, for sure, that Rams jersey must be retired.

,,,But never the dream of our 1st SB Victory via Isaac Bruce. :r

    Re: # 80?

Ellard was great but I'll never forgive him for dogging routes and giving up on Everett.

Besides that, Bruce put up better numbers and more importantly his highlight reel includes a game winning, 72 yard TD catch. Ellard just put up good numbers.

Lastly, I think it's going to ring hollow when/if they retire his number. Hopefully a whole new front office is in place by the time that happens and it can at least be imagined that it's sincere. Let's not forget the half-hearted, bungled, last minute effort that the Rams put on for Faulk.

    Re: # 80?

I think the Rams should do a duel retirement for the #80 jersey. Have that ceremony for both Bruce and Ellard, with either two jerseys with their names and #80 on it, or one #80 jersey and both Bruce's and Ellard's names on that one.
