Re: About the game
Great win for our team, we finally beat the hated Raiders in Oakland.
Very happy for the team.

Re: About the game
Wow, just got back from watching the game...
One bad team, and one REALLY, REALLY, bad team.
Man, five words I thought I'd never utter during a Ram game this year. "I want a shut-out!" ...but I have to tell ya, I'm one happy-camper today. We have our problems, but the Faiders are bad beyond belief. We actually played with some fire today, and kept it up for the entire game, which was great to see. I have to believe that some of it was due to the total ineptitude of the Faiders, but to see that we haven't cashed it in, was good to see. Gawd, the Faiders are bad though! The week at work will be sooooooooo much more pleasant. Faider fans will be easy prey, for sure.
Did you see that shot of Al trying to sit down? Wow, he's warmed-over death. I wonder who will take over for him when he finally lies down? Anyway, this game made my week. Happy, happy, joy, joy...

Re: About the game
The raiders performance today was potentially the single worst display of offensive football i have every seen, but boy do i like their corners.

Re: About the game
I thought the Raiders were bad but didn't know they were this terrible! Never the less, I am excited about the shut out regardless of who we are playing. Great game for Jackson and even better for the defense.
As always.....
GO RAMS!!!

It's too bad you missed the '79 Rams at Seattle game. Haden and Ferragamo combined to beat the Seahawks 24-0. The 'hawks garnered -8 yards total, an NFL record. Even the one major event their 'D' pulled, injuring Haden, may have been what the Rams needed to make Super Bowl XIV.

Re: About the game
cowboy hater, i recall that rams hawks game well. The rams had some dominating players on defense on that team. We pitched a shutout in the nfc title game. The current rams defense is not exactly a dead ringer for the 85 bears. Given how bad we all know our current rams defense is, i think the ineptitude demonstrated by the raiders today was an all time low. Granted, they were missing moss and jordan and gallery, three of their best guys, but they still were beyond any reasonable definition of awful.
They missed plenty of open receivers and had excellent field position all game. We havent stopped the run effecitvely all year and yet they couldnt run the ball with any kind of consistency.
Again, given how bad our defense is statistically, i stick by my guns that this was the worst offensive performance of all time.
