Re: After 1 year of Spags/Devaney...

Here's a stat for you.....1-15 2009. 2-14 2008. And here's where this stat is misleading as to how bad the Rams were. The TD to beat the Lions was on a fake FG.

See how stats can be deceiving? It's like unemployment went down .2 percent but it's still at 15.4??? Not to say it's at 15.4 but you get the picture.....well probably not on the most anal-retentive Rams sight on the web but some will get my point.

The touchdown of Mr Jackson actually finishes the Lions. Its like this..

Would you like one more win this year and even less talent, more cap problems, and no future in sight...or....one less win, solid foundation, better FO, better talent evaluation, plenty of draft picks at the top of every round with guys committed to getting a good product on the field.

    Take your pick

How sure are we about this solid foundation? Spags is still ain experienced head coach. He's won only one game. He wins more and turns this thing around great. However, right now this team stinks.

The Rams lone victory this year was due primariy to a fake field goal. True SJ 39 did scamper in to win the game in OT but it most likely would not have transpired if the fake FG had not taken place successfully.

You make some valid points but I still am not convinced we have a solid foundation. Time will tell here, the drft and FA market signings. But, long wat to go to even think about being competitive.
