After firing the entire team who would be the first 10 players you resign?
If none of the Rams current players were under contract for next year and you could only sign 10 of the current Ram players which ones would you want to sign?
In looking at our team I saw a bunch of guys I could care less about being here next year it didn't get that tough for me until I got down to about 12 players.
Here is my choices in no paticular order for who I would select:
1. Sam Bradford QB
2. Steven Jackson RB
3. Brandon Lloyd WR
4. Danny Amendola WR/KR
5. Rodger Saffold OT
6. Harvey Dahl OG
7. Chris Long DE
8. James Laurinatis MLB
9. Bradley Fletcher CB
10. Darian Stewart S

Assuming he is healthy, i dont know how you leave bartell off of a list like that. I also think that quinn is a must have. excellent rookie year, tons of upside. both of those guys would be ahead of amendola in my view, and i really like danny a lot (along with salas and pettis)

Well since we're assuming players are healthy, there's no doubt DX would be on my list.
Re: After firing the entire team who would be the first 10 players you resign?
Only 10? That is tough because I think we have slightly better players than you think.
1. Bradford
2. Laurinaitis
3. Long
4. Quinn
5. Darian Stewart - he IS calling the secondary adjustments afterall
6. Mikell
7. Lloyd
8. Amendola
9. Bartell
10. Fletcher
Others who I would easily re-sign: Kendricks, Salas, Pettis, King(if only because he has so much added experience because of this year), Dahl, Saffold, Brown, Bannan, Miller(the returner), Poppinga, Chamberlain, Big Mike. There are others I'd be fine with signing again, but would look outside first as well.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, TekeRam. WE DO have more than 10 guys who would be desirable for re-signing. I'd say we have a good 18-20 guys who are no brainers or guys who will undoubtedly get better. And don't forget to put Donnie Jones on that list (his failed punt to Patrick Peterson notwithstanding).

Losing begets losing. I think the Rams have talent at a level as Teke and NJ suggest. Losing sucks for us and for them. It also is a sickness that affects talent level. With right leadership, we can see a decent turaround sooner rather then later.

2. Bradford
3. Lloyd
4. Amendola
5. Dahl
6. Animal Jr.
7. Long
8. Quinn
9. Mikell
10. Justin King. I still think he has potential.
Hahaha, just kidding, I'd go with Stewart. The only reason I put him over Fletch and Bartell are the injury concerns.
Re: After firing the entire team who would be the first 10 players you resign?
The main reason for the post was to see if you could only pick 10 players from our current roster who would you pick for next year. I think most understood that but I just wanted to clarify it. I didn't pick Bartell because of injury concerns. I also think once you get past about 12-14 players most of the players we are talking about are below average IMO.

After 2 or 3 you hit average players. Not many superstars in the bunch.

Eliminating injured players who are question marks to return at 100% (Bartell, Fletcher, Amendola), I'd go with:
Bradford
Jackson
Lloyd
Kendricks
Saffold
H.Dahl
Long
Quinn
Laurinaitis
Mikell

Ill take this. Going forward, this is a pretty solid list of 10, in my opinion. Hopefully Saffold doesn't let us down in the future.?

Tougher than you'd think, but here's my list (in alphabetical order)...
Danny Amendola
Sam Bradford
Steven Jackson
Donnie Jones
James Laurinaitis
Brandon Lloyd
Chris Long
Quintin Mikell
Robert Quinn
Rodger Saffold

This is the list I would go with. The next question is who would the next 10 be? If there are 10 more?
