After we win in Baltimore with Frerotte at the helm.

Will Bulger have anything to worry about?

What about Linehan? QB controversy? Linehan needs wins and he knows it.

There's not going to be a QB controversy, neither QB played lights out and Frerrotte knows his place.

Not to mention Frerotte has what, two, three years left in his career, tops?

I'm pretty sure a lot of Marc's money is guaranteed, so he has very little to worry about. Plus this is Gus Frerotte were talking about remember?

Ferrotte didnt play with broken ribs and threw 3 perfect passes to the Cardinals. I dont think Bulger has anything to worry about, he's injured. He didnt get benched for his play he got benched because he is injured and it was affecting his play. Bulger is fine when healthy and he also didnt have cogs blocking for him either.

Gus Frerotte is no Marc Bulger, end of story.

True, but Linehan is more comfortable with Gus and any other player that he has worked with in the past, so Bulger may find himself on the bench.

You can't justify playing Gus Frerotte over a QB that just earned(last year) a 65 million dollar contract in this or any league. Starting QB's need to worry when there is no reason but their own sucking for why the team sucks. Bulger would be doing fine with the right plays, right ribs, or an at least somewhat intact line.

But if Frerotte plays well and beats Baltimore, who should we start versus seachickens?

I think the smart thing would be try to play Gus until the bye weak (weak 9.) So Marc's rib are fully recovered and he's not just re-aggravating the injury all year. I like to give Frerotte an hard time but I think he's one of the better back ups.

Darn!!! i was hoping Mark would be back this week. Now i'm really irked that Linehan took so long to give those million dollar ribs some rest.
