    Alex Barron

By all accounts Alex Barron looked good today at ORT.
That's what we need and KUDOS to Barron!!!

It kind of reestablishes some confidence in the Ram's Organization, that they have brought in some players and worked towards fixing a long term solution.

Now, more than ever, I'd like to see them get Incognito in the stable and we can get moving on developing the OFF as the Greatest Show on TURF!

    Re: Alex Barron

    That's right, Tony. :football:

It seems that now would be the perfect timing to set and establish a fresh, younger OL, even if Pace is there for a few more years. Trusting that Barron pans out as everyone foresees, we would end up with two towers at the ends).

I think it was AV that proposed the Rams OL prospects the other day:

    LT -- Pace,
    LG -- Terrell,
    C -- Incognito,
    RG -- Saipaia,
    RT -- Barron.

    Looks good!

Saipaia does a good job, even if the occasional blunder must click as it happened today when he was beaten badly on a nasty sack on Bulger. Coach Hannifan said he knows Saipaia is aware of proper technique -- but it happens to the best of them.

The irony of that mistake is the Coach Martz got so irate immediately after that play that he went straight to Alex Barron and barked, "YOU'RE UP, GET READY!"

That works for me! I'm thinking it may be time to give Barron more time at RT. He held his own today, even though it was only for a short time at the end of the game. The fumble recovery was a bonus!

If he is indeed ready, that will be a big help. Bulger isn't getting enough time and is getting pummeled. I say bring in the big guy!

He did good today in his first action. The guy looks big out there.

I'll admit I'm wrong every SUNDAY .. if we can get a win and play well !!

Saipai was out of position. Issac Bruce wouldn't work well as a TE.

I like the future lineup that RealRam posted.

Next Sunday, we will see if the future is now. Barron vs. Strahan....is the kid ready for the big time?
