Alex Barron & Orlando Pace

Barron (6'7"-315lbs)

Pace (6'7"-325lbs)

I ask the CLAN....

Is there a better tandem of Tackles in the NFL right now?

Oh I don't know, man; that Panther pair (LT Gross, RT Otah) might look pretty good.

Are you asking if they are "better" or just bigger? If it is the former I think the pair the Rams will be facing this weekend (Thomas & Runyan) are certainly in the running and may even be just as big.

WHAT SAY YE?

These guys are big, just haven't been the best. Thats all I can say. Say they get better, then they're players everyone will fear.

That's a "LOADED" question, laramO! I'll pass. Next question, please.

False start...Barron. False start...Barron. If he can get over this, then this post will be legit.

Their size is impressive but I'm asking if they are the best.

While I agree with this statement in relation to Barron, how anyone can say that Pace hasn't been the best is bewildering. Okay, he's past his prime now but only Ogden came close to Pace in his heyday.

Walter Jones might disagree.

Re: Alex Barron & Orlando Pace

Tony Ugoh and Ryan Diem of the Colts come to mind.

Jammal Brown and Jon Stinchcomb of the Saints are pretty good too.
