I think there are some people on the board that need a serious dose of "lets have some fun"

Nick I seem to remember a picture of Rich Cody flopping around on the ground missing a key tackle being attached to your posts back a few years ago. That was a pretty ugly picture to see and we all wanted it taken down.

Let's hope that Linehan wants his picture taken down just as much.

These are actions of a coach who doesn't seem to know what he is doing on game day. This worries me, and I'm going to vocalize my concern until it gets better or until Linehan is gone.
My concern is if Linehan knows or understands he has made some bad calls/judgements?

I mean the biggest game of the season and he ignores the oppotunity to kick a fg and then relies on the FB and rookie TE to hopefully gain a 1st down? DUH! Then another big game vs. The Panthers and the team wasn't ready to play??? Not to mention the lack of ball control with all the passes. Keeping the workhorse in the garage? I'm concerned because Linehan is brushing off his decisions onto the player/players. Which leads me to believe he's not getting it. Only the players really know what's going on and they're playing it smart by keeping it to themselves. Linehan on the otherhand is quick to throw them under the bus. Hard enough to gain the respect of the players, Linehans style or actions is surely going to come back and bite him. If they haven't already. ie- Panthers game.

So why doesn't Linehan get 32 games to see where he stands?
    Hear, hear!

Fact is, we've had one terrible game. We're not as good as some on this board perceive us to be. We SHOULD have lost both the Cards and Packers games.

I don't know anything about law, AV, and (I assume), you don't know that much about architecture; and neither one of us knows ANYTHING about coaching an NFL team.

Linehan deserves at LEAST two years, and really, three, before he can be fairly evaluated.

Parcells didn't exactly light it up in Dallas his first two years, but now that he's got his guys, and his system in place, he's looking pretty good.

That's the point. If a lawyer like me with zero football coaching experience can see the problems with playcalling as clearly as the nose on my face, then it must really be bad.

Actually.........Parcells took a 6-10 Cowboys team and turned them around his 1st year and made the playoffs.

BULL! you run the ball 8 times with a beat up O line, this team has no life in it. It all starts with the head coach, at least with mike we had an identity Scott says he wants to run but I haven't seen it.

My bad. Actually he took a 5-11 team and then went 10-6, for a wildcard berth. Next year, he went 6-10.

Was he all of a sudden an idiot?

Right. The problem is making it watertight.

I'll admit to having some reservations myself. However...

    ...imagine this scenario.

We run Jackson 25 times and he gains 50 yards, and THEN find out Carolina was playing 8 in the box all day. Wouldn't it follow that we'd all be screaming at Linehan for not throwing?

(Jackson was NOT lighting it up running.)

As Mr. Miyagi once said, "you must have balance, Daniel-san."

If you run the ball every play, the defense (well, other than the Rams' defense) will stop you.

If you pass every play, they'll blitz the dung out of you.

    Mr. Miyagi is smart cookie.

I see my signature has changed. What happened? Did you all gang up on Dez and made him feel guilty?
