I would wait- see who's cut before the season starts. He could still change his mind. And besides, wouldn't you rather have a #47 Jones jersey instead?

Yuck, not a huge fan of WRs in the teens. At least the Rams had the sense to not give anyone #80 though.

Somewhere Lance Rentzel, Donnie Williams, & Jimmy Raye III are all crying on each other's shoulders at this news.

No 80, I think the WR will change over time.

I'm glad they held #80. I hope they retire Bruce's number though.

However, I'm waiting for Chris Long to actually start playing before I go buy his jersey. I think I'm going to buy the....home one.

I wouldn't have thought they'd give out that number when Ellard left, so who knows?

Well Nick, considering that the only number available in the 80's is 86, it was a matter of time that they needed to start issuing numbers in the teens. Plus, I actually like WRs wearing the teens numbers. It's also like the "new trend" with all the new WRs coming into the league.

Yeah, I understand why they do it. Just never really grew on me.

It just doesn't look right does it? Going by the numbers, it has the appearance of a double-digit number of QB's on the roster.

yeah i'd rather move the tight ends numbers and keep the wr's in the 80 where they should be.
