I hear ya on that one. You have to watch out for fakes but you can get some super deals on eBay on authentic jerseys. I, like you, stopped wearing replicas after I found that you can get authentics off eBay for about the same price as you can get replicas off team sites or in stores... sometimes even cheaper.Quote:

Gotta be careful with authentics on Ebay. Some are just sewn on and passed off as being authentics. Still sewn on at the price is better than iron-on replica. I don't have any beef with these imitation authentics unless the collar twists up or if numbers bubble up. Best thing to do is read over their feedback and see if anyone makes a claim that they are not authentic. Word to the wise...

I agree, I always check for claims of not being authentic and if there are more than a couple I stay away. I can judge whether a MLB jersey is authentic or not just by looking at it, NFL I'm not quite as good with but sometimes you can just tell if they are fake or not because some don't even look right. I think there are a lot of people out there selling bootlegs that they get from Asia and there are a lot who just get a jersey and have the numbers and letters sewn onto it. Either way, as long as it isn't clearly a fake, I agree that a maybe not quite legit authentic is better than a ironed on replica.Quote:
