The All-Rams tournament is now open !
Here's the way it will work. I've selected nearly half (40) of the current pre-camp roster for this tournament. However, 16 of those 40 will face off in a "play-in" round to start things off. The 8 winners of the play-in round will be added to the top 24 to make up the final 32 spots. At the point the tournament will be 5 rounds of single-elimination based solely on your votes. The play-in round voting will be open until noon Wednesday (St. Louis time). Each round after that will be open for 48 hours.
Here's the participants for the play-in round:
Ryan v K. Jackson
Draft v Fitzpatrick
Chillar v McCollum
Brown v Terrell
Hedgecock v Fry
Bartell v Romberg
Adeyanju v Massey
Wade v Looker
The first round (open from noon Wed. to noon Friday) of the final 32 looks like this:
S. Jackson vs. Ryan / K. Jackson
Wilkens v. D. Hall
Tinoisamoa v. Draft/Fitzpatrick
Carriker vs. Klopfenstein
Little vs. Chillar/Mccollum
McMichael vs. Leonard
Pace vs. Brown/Terrell
Bennett vs. Wroten
Bulger vs. Hedgecock/Fry
Barron vs. Hill
Spoon vs. Bartell/Romberg
Atogwe vs. Setterstrom
Holt vs. Adeyanju/Massey
Incognito vs. J. Hall
Bruce vs. Wade/Looker
Chavous vs. Glover
Vote early, vote often

Re: The All-Rams tournament is now open !
First one to get in all votes! I accomplished something today!
I think it's like what ESPN is doing, their "Who's Now" thing. I went by a mixture of my favorite players, how they have helped the team in the past, and how much they should help the team in the future.
If this gets to a Torry Holt or Isaac Bruce thing, I'm gonna have to flip a coin or something

Re: The All-Rams tournament is now open !
ok if this is by the same rules as espn's whos now, these are the rules that i just found....Throughout July, "SportsCenter" will air "Who's Now," a daily series in which viewers will help ESPN determine the ultimate sports star by considering both on-field success and off-field buzz. Based on fan nominations, ESPN Research selected 32 finalists to square off in a single-elimination bracket. The winner of each matchup will advance based upon fan voting (70 percent) and ESPN's three-person panel (30 percent).

That's the beauty of it, fellas. Each voter will decide however they feel. Each vote is based on whatever the voter intends for it to be.

Re: The All-Rams tournament is now open !
Good one. Wilkins has the leg to possibly pull a Chuck Norris-type roundhouse kick to Hall, but Hall is very fast and elusive and could dodge Wilkins for most of the day. In the end, I see Wilkins landing a devestating blow to the chest of Hall...
then we would have to go out and get another return man...:\

Wow, any chance these could go in a forum of their own? Page one is almost more game than sport. I know, it's the off season. BTW, I am enjoying the contest so far.
Nothing to see here... I'll just be moving along. This space for rent...

Re: The All-Rams tournament is now open !
Wilkins had an amazing year in 2003, 39 FGs (then tied an NFL record, but with 7 less attempts), a clutch run for a first down in the Browns game, and of course, he recovered his OWN onside kick in the 2OT playoff thriller against the Panthers.
And then yeah, in 2004, I think he ended up leading the special teams in tackles! He's no doubt one of the toughest kickers in the NFL.
