All star staff, make it happen Jeff

Here is a staff I wouldn't mind having. All first year coaches but o well its just for fun.

    Issac Bruce - wr coach
Orlando Pace - o line coach
    Aeneas Williams - db coach
    Kurt Warner - qb coach
    Marshall Faulk - rb coach

    Anymore I left out lol

Edit: Leonard Little - d line coach
Mike Jones - Lb coach / goal line stand specialist

What about Henry Ellard? He's available after being fired by the Jets along with Schottenheimer.

While it always makes for good conversation, I think several points need to be made about coaching. One, is that just because a guy was a good player does not mean he'll make a good coach. To the contrary, often times a great player can't connect with the average player whose talent and desire doesn't measure up to their own. Magic Johnson and Ted Williams come to mind in their respective sports. And Mike Singletary is an excellent example in the NFL. Many great players- Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and scores of others -never got into coaching because it's not an easy gig.

I am very big on loyalty and remembering those that came before you, but a coaching position must be earned on merit not sentiment. None of those guys listed have coaching experience. And do we even know if they are interested in coaching?

I think the Rams need a staff of experienced coaches who can TEACH these guys how to win, and it's evident Fisher- like most newly hired veteran coaches- is reaching out to guys he feels can do the job.

Mike. Ellard would be great I was just picking people from the gsot days.To everyone else this was kinda a joke thread. It would be great if they all came in and were great but it doesn't just happen like that. I was more or less trying to compile a list of former players that's were great for the rams and if it was a perfect world would be great coaches.

JUST CAUSE you play does not mean you would make a good coach

Might as well hire trent green as the strength and conditioning coach and lets re-enact the 1999-2000 season make movie out of it or something

I am a LOT more interested in getting better players than worrying about who our position coaches are.

You don't think Deacon Jones might still want to 'head slap' some motivation into a few of our DL?
