    Re: All time rams killers

Adrian Wilson is a great one Av, and also on my list of most respected opponents. Right up there with Boldin, John Lynch, Rhonde Barber, Walter Jones, Bob Lilly, Randy White and Matt Hasselbeck. Bryant Young of the whiners is another guy that we couldnt block for years. These guys i respect played hard, played great, competed to the extreme, but didnt feel the need to trash talk and make a spectacle of themselves. Much as i hate to say it, Warren Sapp was another real Ram killer and a great, great player.

I agree completely on HOllywood Henderson. A real jerk. Maybe not as much of a jerk as Steve Smith, but up there.

Brady set up the kill, but it was Adam Vinatieri who delivered the death blow. He ranks as my number one Rams killer of all-time, delivering the worst moment in my life as a Rams fan.

Watching Steve Young run amok vs the Rams just about killed me! Back when Montana played for the whiners with Young backing him up, I don't know which of the two I hated most. We weren't very good at catching either one ..

its obvious...anyone and everyone who played for the Vikings and Cowboys in the 70s. They just kept getting in the way in the playoffs

Chuck Foreman of the Vikings always seemed to have a big day against the Rams in the playoffs. Tony Dorsett also did his share of damage to the Rams' hopes. Jack Youngblood mentions Rayfield Wright and Ron Yary some of his most formidable opponents.

    Re: All time rams killers

I believe that Ron Yary was the only player that could handle youngblood one on one. Boy did those guys have some fierce and awesome battles. In fact Ron Yary has an interesting distinction. I believe he is the only player in NFL history to block both Deacon Jones and Jack Youngblood in their respective primes and he did as well as anyone ever did against those guys. Yary was a Ram very briefly at the end of his career. Truly an all time great player and a great opponent for the Rams.
