    All-Time Rams Team

As a 10-year Rams fan, I'm trying to teach myself the history of the Rams, prior to the move to St. Louis. One thing I'm trying to do is make up an all-time Rams team. Here's what I've gathered so far from various sources. I need you guys to help me with corrections and stuff, seeing as I doubt there's more knowledgeable Rams fans anywhere else on the net.

QB: Kurt Warner (Hard to argue with that 3 year stretch)
    RB: Eric Dickerson
    WR: Isaac Bruce, Henry Ellard
    TE: Pete Holohan?
    LT: Doug France
    LG: Tom Mack
    C: Rich Saul
    RG: Dennis Harrah
    RT: Big Jackie

    DE: Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood
    DT: Merlin Olsen, Mike Fanning?
LB: Hacksaw, Isiah Robertson, Kevin Greene?
    CB: LeRoy Irvin, Rod Perry
    FS: Nolan Cromwell
    SS: Dave Elmendorf?

    K: Jeff Wilkins
    P: Dale Hatcher

How's that look? Keep in mind that I only got to see...three of these guys play so my list could be way off.

    Re: All-Time Rams Team

    QB: Kurt Warner

I'll buy that. Could go with Roman Gabriel or Norm Van Broklin.

    RB: Eric Dickerson

Faulk gets an honorable mention there.

    WR: Isaac Bruce, Henry Ellard

Again, good choices. Torry may one day crack this list, and Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsh" could arguably be on the list as well.

    TE: Pete Holohan?

The Rams have not had a history of great TEs. Holihan is a good choice.

    LT: Doug France

Contract squabbles aside, this should be Pace.

    LG: Tom Mack

    No doubt.

    C: Rich Saul

    No doubt.

    RG: Dennis Harrah

No doubt (he should be in HOF).

    RT: Big Jackie

    No doubt.

    DE: Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood

    No doubt.

    DT: Merlin Olsen, Mike Fanning?

I'd go with Larry Brooks over Fanning. Rosey Grier is a good choice too.

LB: Hacksaw, Isiah Robertson, Kevin Greene?

    No argument there.

    CB: LeRoy Irvin, Rod Perry

Irvin was a great PR and a very good CB. Pat Thomas, Todd Lyght and even Aeneas could go there.

    FS: Nolan Cromwell

    Hands down.

    SS: Dave Elmendorf?

No clear choice there. Elmendorf is fine.

    K: Jeff Wilkins

    Yep.

    P: Dale Hatcher

He's as good a choice as any.

    Some others:

KR: Ron Brown or Tony Horne
    PR: Leroy Irvin

What about Flipper? Maybe he shouldn't be on the all Rams team, probably not. However, he's always been one of my favorites.

    One error on my part...

Dick "Night Train" Lane should be one of the starting CBs.

    Re: All-Time Rams Team

I'm talking about players who made the most significant contribution to the Rams over the course of their career. For example, Night Train was inducted into the Hall of Fame with his most significant contribution going to the Lions. Get what I'm saying?

Ellard was a bit tougher than Torry. I'd take Ellard any day!Faulk was the best thing in ST. Louis since Dickerson in L.A. Eric before Faulk!

Faulk is and was a better play than eickerson. Eickerson had 2 amazing seasons for the rams while faulk had 3. IMO ill take faulk over eickerson anyday both are great. OTRRy is a much better receiver than ellard even ellard him self has said that. Ellard has also said Holt will be on his top 5 list of best ever by the end of his career. Night Train Lane got 14 INTS in a what 14 game season? Thats the nfl record folks ill take nigh train lane on my list!
