It's easy to say yanking Bulger was the right thing to do now. What happens if Gus Frerotte gets sacked 6 or 7 times throws 2 or 3 picks, Jeff Wilkins continues to miss field goals? Drew Bennett keeps playing like he's lost? and we get smoked again?

Then what? Blame Linehan for trading Fitz?

    S.L.A.P. here.
Maybe I should have said I dont care if the results from Ferrotte are worse or the same. I care about the team but I wasnt asking for Ferrotte for results. He cant possible play worse than Marc has right? Bulger should not be playing with broken ribs. He is our franchise qb and it's a risk as a fan I dont like seeing the team take. We need Bulger for the next 4 to 5 years so I say let him heal. For me it isnt a performance issue its a health issue. Would I love for Ferrotte to come in and guide us to victory yes, do I think with all the injuries he will do better than Bulger not really. He may play better but he's healthy, Marc is far from healthy.

    Just Fix It

If I'm in charge the first thing I do is hire an assassin to take out a certain poofy haired overmakeuped blond.
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Maybe not now, but soon.

1)Hire a REAL general manager, one with a good NFL resume hopefully.

    2) Relegate Shaw and Ziggy to non-football decisions, and contract negotiaitions with absolutely no say in personnel decisions.

    3) Let the new GM hire the coach he would want to work with and go from there ...

    You left out "fat".

    ...and I agree.

But if given the immediate power to fix this team, the only real fix we need is finding a way to keep guys healthy.

Then I'd sell the team to an owner that really understands football and will surround himself with other football people.
