Am I going crazy?

Am I going crazy, or did anyone take Grudens comments Monday night as sort of an on air interview for the Rams job? He covered the Jags Chargers MNF game post Del Rio firing and never made the comment "If I came here as the next head coach ...." But he made it a point to make the comment on air Monday night about the Rams, multiple times if Im not mistaken.

Maybe we do have a shot at one of these big name coaches.

Am I just being blinded by my desire to get Gruden (My #1 choice), or did anyone else get this vibe as well?

Yeah I picked up on it as it passed me by and whilst I'm not totally sold on him as the next HC, it tells me two things:

1. Bradford is someone people want to work with.
2. Kroenke is someone people want to work with.

And that gives me hope for the future.

No he didn't. Once again, he said he would sit down with Bradford and evaluate him while looking at the upcoming draft possibilities, such as RG3. Man, i guess this is just how rumors get started lol.

I liked how he said he just cannot stand presnap penalties. You could tell listening he was getting upset just watching them from a neutral standpoint. I guarantee if he came here and we continued to have illegal formations or shifts or false starts, he would chew them out then let them ride the pine.

Just curious. Why do people think Gruden is a great coach? I wouldn't want him because he's not that good and does not groom young QB's. History proves that. Name that he groomed? He should not be even thinking about a new QB when you have a #1 pick going into his 3 year and 3rd OC. Especially one with "all the tools" like Bradford. Like Jaws said, develop him and get some help. I didn't want to draft Bradford, but I'm not ready to give up on him yet. The only reason to trade him is if you are nervous about him learning a 3rd offense. This could become a problem.

Gruden has won a Super Bowl. That would be my main criteria in calling him a good coach. I don't care how we win another Super Bowl or who is on the team when we win another Super Bowl as long as we win another Super Bowl. In my opinion to hire a coach who has won one would be huge.

I think a lot of people are probably reading a little too much into what Gruden has been saying.? I got the impression Gruden absolutely loved Bradford, before the NY Giants game, in week two.
