Amendola
How big was he? Here is a guy we lost all last year. No ones going to tell me he is not an elite slot guy one of the best in the NFL. Les lock him up!
15 catches buck 160 one TD!

Re: Amendola
He's starting his breakout season in my opinion, in the second half he was being consistently double covered which in turn opened up for the other WRS. When Pettis comes back its going to get good! I hope.

Re: Amendola
Awesome. And the way he bounced back from that initial fumble showed his character and heart. My favorite current Ram.

Re: Amendola
GREAT to see the Rams making some plays!
And the crowd into it.
GREAT to see the Rams making highlights for themselves rather than for the opponents.
Been watching that terrific 56 yard catch / run by Amendola...
With the benefit of hindsight, had he continued running forward instead of making a cut to the right towards the end of the play, he would AT LEAST gobbled up 20 more yards, possibly even a TD because he was really moving and Chris Givens was setting for some good blocking in front of him.
Danny might not be super fast but as we know, he's quick. Again, had he continued to speed forward, there would have been a good chance that he would have left Richard Crawford (the Skins CB catching up from behind) grasping air and DA might have made an even longer gain or, six on the board.
Bottom line: Great play by Danny Boy and the Rams. So good to see!

Re: Amendola
Amendola is awesome, and he opens up a lot of others guys on the offense simply by being there. I think it was severely understated how much his loss affected our passing game last year.

Re: Amendola
Is Pead not good enough to return kicks? Instead of D.A. that is.
I still prefer the Pead option on this.

Re: Amendola
Amendola is leading the league in catches after two weeks and really close in yards too.

Re: Amendola
But I really thought the Patriots second round pick would have been worth losing him in a RFA claim...
I mean Greg Salas is bigger and faster than that little undrafted guy, we should just let Danny walk.
It just makes sense, Ammendola went undrafted, so a second round pick must be automatically better than him. (says Donnie Avery, Brian Leornard, and Joe Klophenstein)

It may sound cliche, but you can't measure heart or toughness with a scale or a stop watch!
