Hmmm, I always thought the Jets O under performed given the talent they had on offense but I'm guessing a lot of that lies with Sanchez's inability to become a decent QB, so this could work out. Although the coaching hire I'll be keeping an eye on is the offensive line coach.

Unless Fisher is the GM, which he isn't, I think the Rams will hire a GM before they hire coaches. Everybody's jumping the gun.

The Jet fans don't seem to have much good, to say about him.? Im no expert on Schotty, but am drawn to the fact he is experienced, and also has the correct bloodlines to be a good coach too.? I think the Rams will interview other potential OC's as well. So its going to be interesting to see, where they go with this in the end.?

you can't put alot of stock in what Jets fans think, they have taken on the personality of the jackass loadmouth coach,I think in the right situation he would do a good job, now is that the Rams, not sure but it could be.

Really and is does not seem like Fisher is the new GM....Meeting today in Nashville with Rams HC Jeff Fisher!

I thought our corporate was in Denver and Rams Park was in St.Louis... gotta love where the interview is being held :D

We really don't know what he title Fisher has but looks like he got the juice!

It doesn't matter who our GM will be as regards Fisher's coaching staff. Jeff will pick out each coach to join his staff as he wishes with or without a GM. That's one of the reasons he chose the Rams -- no meddling !!

They both live in nashville so it only makes sense,its more of a convenience factor than jeff fisher flexing his muscles and saying come to my town to interview lol

I don't think a GM is going to influence who Fisher wants as an OC and DC. I doubt they wait.

Schottenheimer is terrible, I dont understand what you guys see in him. Their defense CLEARLY carried that team to the AFC championship, no questions asked. This year when their D sucked because for whatever reason, they cant even get into the playoffs. That just proves how bad of an OC this guy is. When the D isn't #1 in the NFL, they cant make the playoffs. So for you guys that think hes some sort of beast, think about it.

New York fans dissing an ex- somebody? They routinely are critical of all thngs sports even when they are winning. For now, my blind faith lays with our new HC. It is his Ferrari. Drive it like it is meant to be driven!

I watched enough Jets games to know Schottenheimer regularly looked confused and wildly inconsistent calling his offense, bit if Fisher thinks he can do the job, I'm on board. Apprehensive, but on board.
