Another Rams first!

We all know that the Rams have had many "firsts"...

We were the first team with helmet decorations.
We were the first team to move west of the Mississippi.
We were the first team to have an African-American player in the post WWII era.
We were the first team to play in front of a million spectators in a single season.
We were the first (of two teams) to play a sudden-death overtime.
We were the first to have a full-time scouting staff.
We were the first to have a full-time special teams coach.
We were the first team to televise "away" games.
We were the first team to have a player in 14 consecutive Pro Bowls. (Merlin Olsen)
We were the first team to win seven consecutive division titles.
We were the first team with more than six losses to play in a Super Bowl.
We were the first team to move back east.
We were the first team to lose all 8 divisional games one year, then win all 8 the next year.
We were the first team to win a NFL Championship in 3 different cities.
We were the first team to score over 500 points in 3 consecutive seasons.

Now, we are going to have another first! (Unless it changes before Sunday)...

Shannon Eastin will be on the field Sunday, the first time a female will be officiating in a regular season NFL game.


I just hope she makes enough sammiches for all the players...and that she has better eyes than most of the replacement refs.

I have to give her credit. I saw her make a correct call that was overturned by the replay official. The reply official must not be married, because he would no better than to overturn the woman!
