Another Trivia Question (for Rep Points)

There are two rings that should be of greatest importance to Rams players.

Only one can claim to have obtained both.

Who is he, and what are the two rings?

    Well done!

Re: Another Trivia Question (for Rep Points)

Notably, Isaac Bruce, who also has a Super Bowl ring, had his jersey number retired, but is not (as of yet) on the Ring of Fame.

There's also a non-player who has both rings.

    Who is he?

You mean she? Georgia Frontiere is the only person on that ring would have have both a super bowl ring and a place in the ring without having been a player. Whole front office gets rings when they win, so I'll bet Georgia got one for herself too.

Dick Vermeil is probably the answer you are looking for, but I believe he played in college, and is therefore not a non-player :-P

    A Rams non-player?

Is it George Allen. Actually I dont think he ever won a superbowl

But I think non-rams wise. Joe Gibbs was the only coach who is in hall of fame that never played in the NFL? And I know he won a superbowl

Perhaps she had one made, but that's not really a Super Bowl ring that was awarded.

I don't know, I think the whole front office earns it with the players (Speaking as someone who missed out on getting a Cardinals World Series Ring as I was in the front office between 2006 and 2011, but not in either year they won it). The show doesn't go on without the front office or the owners. They may not play the game, but they weren't bystanders either.

Re: Another Trivia Question (for Rep Points)

Maybe so, but the owner essentially buys the rings, no? So if he/she buys one for him/herself, that's different than being awarded one.

In any event, the clearly correct answer was Dick Vermiel.

Aye, and I spent too much time typing my whimsical answer to answer in time. All in good fun though!
