Re: Any news on Reverend Ike
I doubt it. Most of the time when a player is doubtful, they usually don't play.
Who knows though?

Re: Any news on Reverend Ike
This is the same injury that has knocked Boller out of the next two months. Even if Bruce's injury is less severe, I'd hate to see Martz push the issue with Curtis ready to go.

Rams | Injury Update: I. Bruce
Sun, 25 Sep 2005 20:36:02 -0700
Nick Wagoner, of StLouisRams.com, reports St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz said he is not sure of WR Isaac Bruce's (toe) status for next week. "Isaac's turf toe I am concerned about," Martz said. "Those turf toes are nasty things. I don't know how bad it is, but it will probably be Wednesday before I can comment." As noted earlier, Bruce feels like he will be OK. "I'm optimistic that everything is well and I shall be back fast," Bruce said. "I shall be quick, I shall be explosive and I shall be in the mix like I've always been."
Rams | Bruce Injured, Could Miss Week 4
Mon, 26 Sep 2005 15:42:30 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Isaac Bruce (toe) suffered a hyperextended toe in Week 3 and his status for Week 4 will be determined later this week. Bruce could possibly miss the next two or three weeks with the injury. If Bruce is sidelined, WR Kevin Curtis becomes the starter.

There is sure a lot of if's in these statements.
If we are going to go on things reported. Bruce also said " I will be ready to go next week".

Well I hope he does get two weeks -- at least one -- to bring that toe back in shape to 90-100%.
As HUbison said, Curtis is ready to go and besides, he is doing so well. Excellent starter in lieu of Bruce for now. Looker is WR4 ready at the bench as well.
Seems the Rams offense is as excited as we are!

Re: Any news on Reverend Ike
Thanks for the update on my favorite player! What bad luck -- Ike was just talking about playing for many more years, I hope the injury doesn't linger.

Rams | Bruce Misses Practice; Doubtful for Week 4
Wed, 28 Sep 2005 16:40:34 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Isaac Bruce (turf toe) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 28 and is listed as doubtful for the team's Week 4 game against the New York Giants. Although it is never wise to count out Bruce too early, the injury looks like a two-to-three week situation.

Re: Any news on Reverend Ike
I didnt get to hear or see the game..I was at an Expo for my Co.When I got home I read the game stats.Bruce 1 catch for 11 yards. At that point I knew somthing was wrong.I read further and found out it was turf toe,and I thought ok we're alright we got Curtis.
I hope this injury wont keep him out very long, but i'd rather he rested it and comes back 100% even if its week 10. We will def.need him down the stretch. My heart beats crazy and my blood runs wild
