I am not hoping. If we get him, we get him. He "could" be good for us as a role player. My lean is towards the fish keeping him and we draft someone else so that we have a pair of backs that can be a tandem for years to come.

I was interested in him, but now that we got Brian Leonard I don't see us going after Williams as much. Yes, Leonard is a full back, but I see the Rams also using him as Steven Jackson's spell back as well. The need for a spell back is pretty much gone.

Not to mention we no longer have any draft picks to trade for him. Even if he is released, why would we want him if Miami doesn't?

Draft blue collar guys without clouds over their conduct and sign veterans with complete fog over theirs....dont see why we should do that!

It's quite unlikely now, of course, that Ricky will ever be a Ram and I'm just fine with that.

I hope he has learned from his mistakes, move on (I don't know where or doing what) and be well. That's all.
