As far as I know he hasn't officially retired...anyone know what his plans are/ if he wants to play for the Rams still?

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Thanks for posting this, I been wondering as well about his sit. as well. I think he'd be a great situational pass rusher at the very least still...you guys concur?

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
According to Spags last mention of him (a week or two ago i think) Little is still sitting at home contemplating what he wants to do.
We want get an answer from him until July at the earliest I'd wager.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
My opinion, the longer he doesn't decide, the more chance he plays.
Next question's where.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
He could be a good pass rusher on 3rd down. We have a decent Dline with Little, some veteran guys could help our young DL to become solid players and provide a good rotation like Spag use.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
I agree, I think he's at best a situational pass rusher at this point in time. With Adeyanju's ability to stuff the run, I would consider playing the two of them at RE and switching them as needed.
Of course, it would require him coming back first.I believe!

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Come on Leonard, one last year ... "play it once, Sam, for old times' sake".
Our last Ram from 1999, SB ring and all, playing and leaving the same season Sam enters the new era. Something tells me both of these warriors, veteran and newbie alike, might contribute significantly for 2010.
Bottom line is I think LL can still bring it! One last time.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Here's a quick little (no pun intended) blurb:
According to ESPN's Len Pasquarelli, free agent DE Leonard Little "has all but decided" to continue his playing career in 2010.
Little can still get to the passer, so his services should be in demand even though he's injury prone and entering his age-36 season. Little has played his entire career with the Rams. One would assume he'd want to play for a contender again, but St. Louis could certainly use his speed off the edge.

The last update I had was that he is now my friend on Facebook. As far as saying anything, he's as quiet as a butterfly fart.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Snippet from Rotoworld:
Rams GM Billy Devaney says there is "nothing going on" in terms of contract talks between the team and free agent Leonard Little.
Devaney didn't rule out a re-signing, and an ESPN report over the weekend stated that Little "has all but decided" to continue playing in 2010. Going on age 36, the lifelong St. Louis Ram may prefer to play for a contender.
Source: St Louis Globe-Democrat
Full piece from Globe:
Over the weekend, a report on espn.com said defensive end Leonard Little “has all but decided to play” this season and could end up signing with a team before training camps begin.
Rams general manager Billy Devaney said there is currently “nothing going on” in terms of discussions with Little about re-signing with the Rams. Devaney added that the team has never closed the door to Little returning.
During the offseason, Chris Long has lined up at the left-end spot previously manned by Little, who would likely be a situational player for whoever he played for and might desire at this stage of his career that would be with a team he believes can win now. Early in the offseason, Little had a visit scheduled to New Orleans, but he canceled it.

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Funny, no mention of how Spags feels about Leonard Little coming back. Another game of TEXAS Holdem?

Re: Any update on Leonard Little?
Isn't this the guy that killed someone? He drove drunk and killed someone then he drove drunk again! This guy is a loser and the Rams should be glad to get ride of him. In this day and age of all the "Off Field" issue discipline action, Little doesn't deserve to play in the NFL. He is lucky that Goodell wasn't the commissioner.
