Anybody here remember Reggie Doss?
You guys remember a guy named Reggie Doss that played on the defensive line for the then Los Angeles Rams? I've been sayin' "Hello" to this guy every day for the past six months and never knew it was him.
Apparently he and his wife have an adopted son that's about three or four years old. He's in my son's pre-school class and I see him every day when I drop my kid off. I new the guy was named Reggie and that's about it. From his massive frame, it wouldn't have been a hard call to think he played football but I didn't know his last name until the only male teacher in the place - a diehard Rams fan - told me who the guy was. I must admit, his name only vaguely rings a bell but I figured you guys might know who he is. Apparently he had about a 10 year career that spanned the late 70's through the late 80's.
By the way, I live in a suburb of Riverside, CA.

Yes, Reggie Doss played DT for the Rams ten seasons, 1978 to 87. He was good! How neat that you get to see him, Ant.

Correction: I mentioned earlier that Doss played DT for the Rams 10 years but it was at DE that he spent most of that long tenure. He did play DT occasionally.
Still, I remember he was very good, a mainstay, and reliable.
