    Anyone have experience w/StubHub?

    Hey!

I'm looking into getting some tickets for the Rams @ Tampa on 9/23 and I have found that the only way to get them is through a reseller. StubHub has some listed and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this site.

    Thanks.

Ebay is a good option. I usually get tickets to rams/cardinals games for less. For example I spent around $50 for the cards game on monday for great seats and the face value is around $150. It wouldn't hurt to check.

I've used them in the past and have had no problems with it. In fact I think most of the prices are better than what you would get through another ticket broker.

Same here. My family has used Stubhub quite a bit, and we have never had any problems.

very reliable, but in my opinion expensive. I buy a LOT of tickets for clients and have done a lot better using ebay.

Its a little early on ebay for nfl tickets, but there is one amazing pair available now in Row 1 on the 20 yard line, rams side of the field. Two tickets, guy is asking 639 for the pair, which he will never ever get. Ad says he is willing to entertain best offers. For an individual such as the avenger who has such highly developed negotiating skills that he is on the verge of convincing the us supreme court to overturn entire bodies of constitutional doctrine, i see a prime opportunity to secure phenomenal seats at a highly discounted price off what the seller is asking. Item number 320102985261.

These seats should be behind the tail end of the rams bench and when the action moves down on that end of the field, the team will be standing right in front of you. Nothing beats sitting in row 1 with the rams in front of you, i have done it a couple of times and its truly a unique experience.

I have found good tix at face value on stub hub. The thing I hate about ebay is having to out bid people and most, not all, but most of the tix are outrageously priced to begin with. I may be wrong but isn't it early for NFL tix.

ticket prices on any site are a function of supply and demand. Ebay has tons of bargains for events that arent so highly sought after. You arent going to pay more on ebay than stubhub, i have done this hundreds of times. THe key is that stubhub is 100% reliable and ebay requires a bit more knowledge of the feedback system and who you are dealing with. Keep in mind that ebay has no add on fees like stub hub.

If you can get tickets for face value on stubhub, i guarantee that you can get them for that same game under face value on ebay.

I might try the Ebay thing, though I'm not too keen on waiting until the last minute to secure tickets.

    Thanks for the StubHub comments!

    AV,

I always use Ticket Solutions. They may not be the cheapest but I always have my tickets in hand a week before the event.
