I guess I bought into what they were selling. They convinced me that the 3 game win streak at the end last year was a springboard to better things this year. They convinced me that the additions of offense would make this team a 30+ PPG juggernaut. They convinced me that the defense was improved enough to compliment an explosive offense. They convinced me that the special teams were going to be special with Dante Hall. Then the preseason started and they convinced me that it was just the preseason vanilla scheme that kept them out of the endzone. Well, it looks like that was the offense we could expect this year. Its time to shut shut the door next time they come to sell something to me.

    :\ And I hear you, L.A. ...It's sad but true, B4Life.

So many expectations, expectations so high.

I think we can all rest assured that the players themselves were sincerely excited, so looking forward to this year. It must be so hard on them as well (a few days ago AlphaRam shared here how one Rams wife felt the stress in her home).

I for one wasn't convinced. I'm not going to say "I told you so to anyone", but I wasn't convinced. I never felt we addressed our defensive woes. I felt we were ok on offense, just need to tip the "power scale" in favor of a more "defensive" team. Sure the addition of AC in the draft was nice, but I still felt that many holes were left unresolved.

The problems continue into this year.
