Since it is the Home Page of our team, I hope the link i permitted?

It's nice to see that the Rams owners realize that the teams performance this year is nothing short of inacceptable. It's good to see that they are being active in restoring the Rams to a contender (the firing of Zygmunt, Shaw, Linehan) and let's hope they can, with the help of Devaney, have an offseason to remember. It could be all the nog but I'm dreaming big for 09-10!

I wonder why they used the phrase "At this joyous time of year," when we are 2-13...

please don't read anymore into this than trying to save season ticket holders, they are worried that sales will drop bigtime and they might be right, you could buy a ticket on Stubhub for the Dolphins game for $10,why pay $41 for the same seat.

pretty classy I think, makes me wonder why people seem eager to see chip sell the team, but maybe all this is in preparation to do just that

Even if it were merely a courtesy call by the Rams owners and/or P.R. people, it is nice, as Smizz said. But I trust the wheels were set into motion months ago and have slowly but surely been producing results.

The better news yet, it's only the beginning.

As for the official Rams website, ehhh, usually lame -- it has to be. Must maintain safe 'political correctness protocol'.

Very nice of them. However, they're going to lose money due to our horrid record.

Nice to know that they know we're pissed off.

Re: Anyone see the Rams Home Page today?

What the Rams are not is someone's play thing. The Redskins, Cowboys, and Raiders are the prime examples of "toys". The Rams are a business. So why raise ticket prices if no one is willing to watch a dud?

Shaw and Ziggy's, not to mentions Linehan's, departure of late clearly dictate the business first aspect of the Rams. By and large its a good aspect since it compells ownership to want a winning team so someone is willing to pay $$$ to watch, to purchase, or otherwise make the business profitable.

They (owners) have to start somewhere, even if it means NOT increasing prices. They have to demonstrate committment (i.e. to the fans) to customers. Without them, they will lose, major money.
