anyone up for 8 straight wins and a wildcard spot

a very farfetched idea to begin with but when i came home and saw the rams highlights i saw a Rams team with attitude if we can play like we did from 1-3 qtrs on defense and offense we can go on one last shot to revieve this season

RESURRECTION OF THE 07 RAMS 1 DOWN 7 TA GO !!!!!

    Torry Holt Dont play that

The way this season is going you never know but from this view:

    @SF - W
    Seattle - L
    Atlanta - W
    @ Cincy - L
    Packers - L
    Steelers - L
    @ Arizona - W

Seattle for some reason has the Rams snake bit, who knows what the weather is going to be like at Cincy, the Packers and Steelers will be playing for playoff slots, and Arizona is always a fun one.

However, 4-12 is going to get the Rams a couple of nice draft slots and this team is in dire need of youth on the offensive side of the ball.

I initially said this this morning, however, I think we need to go 8-8 and win the division to get to the playoffs. That said, I think it's improbable... but wouldn't that be a story? Best turnaround ever!

I'm not sure 8 wins will get a team a WC slot.

Maybe, but better chance at winning the NFC West @ 8-8.

I would rather have victories than lose just to draft higher.

You play to win the game! (Dungy?)

That's fine my friend, but I look at the picture a little differently.

If my team gets to a point where I know they're not competing for the big prize, I start looking for ways to improve them. I know a lot of you don't agree with that philosophy and I'm ok with that.

As a fan I just think that winning a few games to go from 2-14 to 5-11 is not worth possibly losing out on a franchise changing player or players, depending on how you draft.

Of course if I were a player or coach, I'd be trying to win every game.

    No problemo, mi amigo.

I am not "sold" on the value of a top draft pick. It seems so many are overpaid and the deeper into the first round a team gets, and into the 2nd round, the more rounded the player. Still get decent players, just may not get to potentially fill a specific need.

    IMHO, of course!

    8-8. Possible / yes + Probable / no = Doubtful x2 :\

:bash: Rest assured the Rams are going to play hard!

...A la famous Herm Edwards statement (you're right, R4life): "You Play to Win the Game". To me, not getting the 1st round pick next year is no biggie. I'll settle for a college player at 4 up to 7.

    ...Then win 11!

At this point, the 2nd one, if it comes against the *****would make up for some of our frustrations this year.

Re: anyone up for 8 straight wins and a wildcard spot

I am torn on this one. On the one side I hate to see a pretender season. A season where a team play beyond the talent of their player and get the few luck bounces and then get bounce out of the playoffs right away and then spend the next few season in the cellar.

I like to see the Rams win but the season is just about lost. I rather see us get high draft picks next year and with some screwd draft picking, come back next year and win it all with a our good core of draft picks.

Also, start slapping teams around for the next few season.

Rams - Super Bowl XLIII, XLIV, XLV winner.
