Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
Geez.
We all knew there was a dropoff at QB after Bulger but.... geez!
Chandlerception should retire. Not at the end of the year. Tonight. He has no business on the field at this point.
Jamie Martin...? Can't blame the guy for not being ready but, again... geez! He has played for Martz before, but that certainly didn't help him today.
Jeff Smoker...? Who knows. I'm sure many today (and last week) would have liked to have seen the kid get a shot, but obviously Martz doesn't think he's ready.
Marc Bulger is this team's Most Valuable Player. No way anyone could possibly contest that.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Amen, Brother. Tawn and I have discussed this all game long. Even Sami, our four-year-old daughter, has been screaming for Marc.

The Rams would have never been the same without these guys.

MB or KW has never been the problem here ! It's been the Line play ,playcalling,HC,.........MM should have adressed his real needs instead of Draft picks like ???????????????? exactly. There have been a few great picks in my mind just feel that MM wasted more than a few!

You're right, but that's in the past. He needs to go. Let's cut him this offseason. He's gotten older and he's banged up. It looks like he's lost control of this team. The team no longer responds to him. We should go in a new direction.

Re: Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
Hey Mike Martz......When will you learn that you need an offensive line and a less volatile scheme to help protect your star QBs in this league?
Too late Mike....I have a strong feeling that your time is up.

Re: Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
Hands down. Seeing Chandler and Martin play behind this line makes me appreciate Bulger's efforts this season even more. And to think there were some calling for Chandler to start from the beginning of the season. Yikes!

anyone wish we still had the QB who's name we cannot mention on this forum?
unfortunately, a certain HC said he washed up, but Chandler and Martin aren't?
what a great judge of talent we have at HC.
what a genius. Einstein would truly be jealous

Re: Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
No. If we still had that QB, we wouldn't have been able to go out and get some of the free agents required to replace injured players because of that certain person's salary cap hit for 2004. Rather than the four-something million that he's counting for on this year's cap, we would have been feeling over double that. Imagine where we'd be then.

Re: Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
Quote from ESPN:
Martz praised Martin's play, considering the circumstances, but said, "I just don't know what to call when you've got a guy in there that's never been in there."
But MARTZ is the one who decided to play a mediocre journeyman who's never taken a snap in his system instead of Smoker. Doesn't say much about his opinion of Smoker, does it? I (as a long-suffering Seahawk's fan) got the impression that Smoker had some talent.

and what FA's have they picked up that have made an impact on the success of this team.
I guartantee War... 4+ million would have a more positive impact that all the FA's combined.

Re: Anyone want to question Bulger's importance to this team?
I agree that Bulger is the most valuable player on the team. Of course, he's the only one allowed to touch the ball in practice and in games so I think it might be difficult to vote for someone else.
You think Steven Jackson or Marshall Faulk might get a little production if the head coach chose to give them the ball more than 10 times in a game? Martz has lost his mind.
