Re: Apologies that will be in order

    Hub,
I don't apologize for pointing out that he has under-performed. He was a 1st round pick and made big bucks. Meanwhile, we lost better DTs, while keeping him as a dud. His first year was a dud, he made the all-pro bench warming team. Injuries plagued him, ok, but still nothing to show, was there? A couple good games, big deal. I don't view him as the savior of our defense. Over the course of three years, he's a bust.

Imagine how much better our team would have been if we'd kept Jeff Z. Young too.

At least nobody is rallying to Lewis' defense.

Watch the Atlanta playoff Game (the Last game that meant something), and
these guys (Marmie, Kennedy, Pickett, and Lewis) owe us an apology.

Atlanta broke every rushing record there was and the RBs virtually ran untouched.
Philly (missing a couple DEF Linemen)totally shut down the same Atlanta running game the very next week.

I wish I had some change for every year I've heard about our #1s on the DEF Line.
DL coach (Kollar) seemed unimpressed with Kennedy this camp. He said he's got a ways to go.

I don't know of any quantifiable reason to believe that Marmie will improve.

Now, Martz, there's someone that is Vastly under appreciated.

Thank you for making my point. The LBs were the reason for that trainwreck, yet the first impulse is to blame the line. D-Lew...I'll give you him, he's not an effective inside run stopper, but Kennedy and Pickett had little to do with that whitewashing. Look to the LBs if you feel a need to lay blame for that game.

I think Tony S. said it best, Kennedy owes us an apology for his lousy attitude the first year.

And I'll be the first to cheer him if he turns it around this year. Absolutely! But, I'm not putting any money on his performance. He's going to have to earn my respect. Until that time, he's still a dud in my book.

Great Points HUB and don't fret the criticism. The list is well thought out.

Marc Bulger deserves apologies from the NFL. This guy is constantly underrated even though he has put up huge numbers. The NFL will be praising him soo enough.

I agree with that list. Those people have never done anything bad. I don't get it.

Did you miss JK's first year? He came in with a bad attitude and bad work ethic. He reaped what he sowed - he Stunk!

So, yes, he did do something bad.

Let's hope that Hub is right and that JK turns out to be a stud this year. Pickett too.
