ST. LOUIS, MO (AP) - Add veteran tight end Jerramy Stevens to the growing list of Rams tight ends.

Stevens gives the Rams another solid receiving option although the Rams already have 2 other starting caliber tight ends. The deal is said to be worth $20 million over 4 years. Expect Joe Klopfenstein to be the odd player out, even though the rookie has played well in 2006.

The Seahawks were interested in resigned Stevens until last week when Stevens was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Stevens had this to say about the incident. ''I’m sorry for what has happened.'' he said. ''I'll be careful not to Fool around and behave myself for the rest of April." Stevens had 22 catches for 231 yards and 4 touchdowns. He will compete with TE Randy McMicheal for the starting job.

if josh wasn't such a good kicker than I wouldn't like him either. but you have to respect a guy that beats you twice in the final seconds of two games.

there are two type of fans. one fan hates all others who play well against thier team and that beats them. the other fan may be mad that they lost, but respects the other team just as much as you would if you had won. I am that type of fan.

I'd have a change of religion if we signed Stevens, I don't think he's back from Cincy yet... Further more, I think most of us here fans of the Rams, not who we're playing.
