Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
Don't worry, even if its quiet this week, I'm sure there will be plenty of action when the Niners come to town in Week 2.
For now, though, I guess the Carolina fans are too busy marrying their cousins to post here.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Whats the point of having cousins if your can't marry them?

Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
I suspect the Panther fans will show up about the middle of next week.
I don't know that there's much they can say. Any unbiased fan knows that the RAMS are going to win.:r

Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
It is going to be interesting.
The panthers defense has not held up in the preseason, for what that is worth. The last time we played them they shut us out and won 15-0. I am sure they want to relive that memory. We have taken a couple of their defensive players. It would be hard for them to be confident about stopping the Rams offense in the opening game. Hopefully some panther fans will come to discuss the game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
Our "d" did look pathetic for most of the pre season but if you saw the games all it was was a shell Cover 2 nothing exotict... ( if you watch the pitsburg game we finaly got aggresive.. yea we lost but it was a tie at the half and none of the scrubs who commited the 6 turnovers are on our team) and Steve smith dint play neither did dellhome)
Not to mention peppers only play maybe a quarter in all the games combined.. same gos for dan morgan and they are the two best players on our defence..... without them you cant judge it..
I dont expect a shut out but if i were you dont expect to score alot and hope you shored up that run "d" a little...
Steven jackson dosnt scare me 8 carries for 27 yds i believe last time...

Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
That was last year with a flawed plan of attack, this is a new year with new players on offense and defense. If I were anyone looking from the outside in that isnt a Panther or a Rams fan I bet they would say they fear Jackson a hell of a lot more than they fear a injury prone Foster and who Deangelo Williams, is he even an NFL calibur rb? Jackson carried the ball 8 times, if you think that happens again you might as well not watch the game. The Rams will win this game and it wouldnt suprise me if they do it by double digits. If you want to hang your hat on an 8-8 team from last year go ahead. The Rams have improved and this will be in our house this year.Last edited by rammiser; -09-02-2007 at 10:46 AM.

Re: ARCH ENEMIES (Week 1): Carolina Panthers
History does not have to repeat itself.
The Rams have home field advantage, a loaded offense and hopefully a more complete defense that can stop the run and stop the passing attack. The D is the biggest question for the Rams in my mind and it would be nice to see them come in shut down the panthers.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
