I think O.J is a bit underrated. Let's face it a team that has won 5 games over the last 2 seasons isn't going to get much notoriety. Nevermind individual player attention. So again, I do feel O.J. is underrated but will be climbing the list as Spags puts his stamp on our defense and entire team.
Statistics are misleading. OJ still misses a ton of tackles. He is a rising young player, who probably deserves to be a couple of spots higher (certainly above hamlin who i have always thought is massively overated). His number of tackles is very high because he is durable, around the ball and playing behind a terrible core of defensive tackles, meaning that the ball carriers are into the secondary quite a bit.

I agree that stats are not all-encompassing GC, but they are still a good indicator as to ability and performance. Atogwe misses some tackles, but that's to be expected when the guys up front aren't slowing anybody down. I wouldn't put Atogwe in the class with Reed or Polamalu yet, but he's a major difference maker who is only going to get better, especially under Spags.Quote:
