mike, we've been together a very long time....went through some battles early.....but to get excited about preseason is just something I can't do yet. Call it having Trent Green syndrome. I hate the preseason. I hate seeing starters get hurt by some unemployed plumber trying to make the other team or something.

Mike, Tx.....I think you're both right. There's few things in this world as exciting as seeing the first glimpses of the new season. Viewing for the first time the results of our most recent evolution every summer is a treat. However, the entire pre-season and training camp for that matter, is one big hold-your-breath moment. Yes, the Green injury opened the door for a two-time MVP, but that has to be a once in a lifetime situation. More often pre-season injuries end up like Butler's last year and Turley's the year before....a season-long revolving door to fill the position. Originally Posted by r8rh8rmike
