I really want to just start this kid right off the bat. He has been in our system. He has shown flashes of brilliance. Where I feel like Clemens is to us what TJ Yates is to the Texans.

What do you guys think? Does Clemens give us a better chance of winning or Davis?

Edit: 1000th post, and it's about this. I'm so disheartened. I would give up all 1000 posts and a $1000 if it meant Bradford is back next week.

    Well, maybe not a $1000

Congrats on the 1000th post!!!! I say we see how Clemens does, and if he struggles big time, start Davis and let it ride. I like Davis more than Clemens, but Clemens is the vet.

I think you have to go with Clemens to start until he proves to be a liability or gets hurt. He's the guy who's been through it with that group so far. I like Davis a lot more as a player but, for the chemistry and focus of the team which has to be a little rocky right now, continuity is important, imo. Besides, what message would it send to pass over KC without giving him a shot ?

    PS edit: Congrats on 1000th.

I think it would be sending the same message every other team has sent him in his career. I agree that having a veteran start this week is probably good for the team's confidence and psyche after the Bradford injury but after Clemens goes down with a concussion after the Seahawks game(it's a possibility...) then I would like for Davis to get a shot.

At their age and experience level, the league pretty much knows what Quinn and Clemens are but Davis is an unknown commodity. He will most likely be a sub-par QB but he should get to show what he has now that playoff hopes are pretty much gone for the Rams. Also, if he plays at a Blaine Gabbert level of horribleness then that's good news for the Rams' draft picks....
