Av's "Looking West" (Week 7)
Current Standings
San Francisco 5-1 (1-0)
Seattle 2-3 (1-1)
Arizona 1-4 (0-1)
St. Louis 0-5 (0-0)

Can anyone in the West catch the Niners? They surprised me again with a quality road victory at Detroit. I still don't think they are as good as their record, but unless another West team goes on a big run, it might not matter.
Av's Prediction Meter: 11-8 (.579).
Week 7 Predictions
Rams 23 Cowboys 20
After so many missed calls on the Rams' games, why am I going back to the well this week? Truth be told, I saw signs of life from the Rams last week. If Bradford plays, I think they can continue in that direction. I'm keeping the faith.
Seahawks 16 Browns 13
I don't have a lot of confidence in the Hawks away from home, but I have less faith in the Browns right now. Expect a sloppy game with Seattle coming out on top.
Steelers 31 Cardinals 14
This Super Bowl rematch will not be close. The Steelers need to win games like this if they are going to keep in shouting distance of the Ravens, and I don't think they'll have to much trouble doing so.
Niners (bye)
Projected Standings
San Francisco 5-1 (1-0)
Seattle 3-3 (1-1)
St. Louis 1-5 (0-0)
Arizona 1-5 (0-1)
Though this appears to be developing into a two team (at most) race, it is noteworthy that only two intra-divisional games have been played thus far. The head-to-head matchups will ultimately determine what kind of race this will be.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Surely the prediction changes now that Bradford is out?

Re: Av's "Looking West" (Week 7)
Personnally, I don't think it'll make a bit of difference in the outcome with AJ starting. Sam has had his share of bad throws and bad decisions this year. AJ's role will be limited I'm sure, and Jackson will need to be the key to winning. ...Which might be a good thing. Quite frankly, Sam hasn't singlehandedly won a game for us since coming on board that I can recall, and with the lineup of receivers the Rams have now, I seriously doubt that Sam was going to win this one for the Rams anyway. Aj certainly won't either.
I didn't think the Rams were going to win this with or without Sam. But in all honesty, I don't think the chances have gotten worse solely because Sam is not playing. If McD is smart, he'll dial up nothing but short dink and dunks to get the ball out quickly and rely on Jackson to carry the load. Throw the occasional deep ball to keep them honest and rely on the running game for long sustained drives.
...and pray Romo is Romo and throws the game away.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Only said so because your description even alluded to the fact that if Bradford plays, you felt confident (or blindly) picking the Rams. Hope you're right but I don't like our chances.

I hope we can make it to Thanksgiving before being eliminated from the playoffs
