Av's "Looking West" - Week 8

Last week was a mixed bag. Missed on the Rams, but correctly picked the Niners win over the Hawks and the Cardinals loss.

On to Week 8!

Rams 26

To win this one, the Rams are going to have to (1) establish the run to keep the Pats' offense off the field, (2) force turnovers, and (3) finish drives. Why do I think the Rams will do this? Maybe its a bit of a "homer hunch," but I really do think the Rams' early arrival in England will make ad difference.

Niners 20
Cardinals 6
Arizona's fast start is becoming a distant memory. Their offense simply cannot deal with a defense like San Francisco's, while the Niners will be able to do enough damage to make this an easy win.

Lions 21
Seahawks 16
The Lions are one of the more disappointing teams in the league. If this game was being played in Seattle, I'd have the Hawks as a heavy favorite. However, I have little faith in Seattle as a road team, and the Lions truly need this game.

I can't argue with any of Av's picks.
