Baby and Bathwater: My Current Lists

I need to step away from the venting for a bit, but before I do, here is my current list of the "baby" and the "bathwater." Those not listed are "to be determined."

    This is subject to change:

    Baby
    Jeff Fisher
    Les Snead
    Sam Bradford*
    WRs/TEs
    Jake Long/Harvey Dahl
    DL
    Laurinaitis/Ogletree
    Jenkins/T.Johnson
    Zeurlein/Hekker

    Bathwater
    Brian Schottenheimer
The rest of the O line
    Our RBs
    Cortland Finnegan
    Our (healthy) safeties

That's how I feel right now, at least.

Let's hope some of the bathwater proves me wrong.

    * I think he's a "baby," but its hard to tell when he's under such dirty bathwater.

I dunno, I question Fisher being on the Baby list. This is all his doing and I'm not confident that he will change or change enough to turn things around. For all I know Fisher is the one holding schotty back. If not, then he hired him so he better get to firing him.

Bradford is a medicore baby at best........destined to be outside divisional top 10 his whole career IMO......But, with the right supporting team, that could be ok....

I'll admit I'm not happy with Fisher, and he needs to be held accountable for the last two games, but we've got 12 more to go and I have not given up on him completely. He's pushing it though.

Unless you are waiting to see IF he will get better then Jake Long should be out with the bathwater. He spent half of the Dallas game on his keister and didn't show anything last night.Miami must be yucking it up right about now.

Dont overlook Jake McQuad in the baby category. Excellent long snapper. So we got that going for us.

One other guy in the baby category. It looks like The Master has been playing pretty well on special teams. He looks like a keeper to me, along with McGee as well.

I've no idea what the CBs are being coached. We see huge cushions on 3rd and 6 but when it comes to 3rd and 19 Finnegan plays close to Boldin and loses him. Unbelievable.

Not sure if Finnegan's play has declined or if his confidence is shot after a bad start to the season.

Not if GC meant this when identified the Master, but I would add Tavon Austin to the Baby list. The guy is explosive under the right circumstances. Good list, AV
