Bajema expects offer from St. Louis Rams; Pace arrives in Baltimore
By Jim Thomas
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
As free-agent tight end Billy Bajema wrapped up his visit in St. Louis, he expected a contract offer from the Rams on Wednesday night. If all goes well in negotiations, Bajema could be signed in a day or two.
Meanwhile, former Rams left tackle Orlando Pace arrived in Baltimore late Wednesday afternoon for his visit to the Ravens. After seven Pro Bowls, two Super Bowls and 12 NFL seasons, Pace didn’t make the trip to Baltimore for the free meal. Although not necessarily in a hurry to find a new team, he’s obviously serious about the Ravens, and has a number in mind contract-wise that could lead to a deal.

Now now, we don't know what kind of meal it could be. Maybe it's like a super-sized fillet or something.

Good for Pace. I'm glad he may land a new team!

Being from Maryland, I would love to see Pace land in Baltimore. Rams will always be my number 1 team, but if I had to pick a 2nd favorite, I would have to go with the Ravens...I usually get to a few Raven's game each year. It will be weird to see Pace in another uniform.

Not only the new uniform will be strange, they seem to want to plug him at RT so that will be even weirder.
Good luck to The big O

Its not surprising that Baltimore is looking at Pace, but i kinda thought he would find a home in Carolina. As to TE jokes, I just hope the Rams are not calling Linehan for TE advice

Ok, ha ha guys but all jokes aside what do you all think about Billy Bajema? I looked at his stats and video, nothing to jump around about; it seems that he will be brought in to be our blocking tight end.

Its hard to find details to really know if the Rams are getting a sweet dail in picking up a player unless someone watches lots of teams and their players.
Not really interested in a blocking TE; I perfer one that can pass catch and block.
