Balzer--CB injuries Prevented Rams from Blitzing

The Rams played 3 new CBs for much of the game. As a result, Balzer pointed out that the Rams barely blitzed. Haslett didn't want to leave the new CBs including rookie Hill starting and Bartell (until he was hurt) alone in single coverage, particularly against a wily vet like Favre who could read the blitz and exploit it.

So the Rams were hobbled twice--one by having second stringers at CB and two by abandoning their blitz packages.

Re: Balzer--CB injuries Prevented Rams from Blitzing

we better hope that changes this week. Without a pass rush, we are going to get torched anyway and we show no real ability to get any kind of pass rush with the exception of leonard without blitzing. We cant let hass sit back and pick us apart, we have to be aggressive, which will lead to turnovers.

we arent going to win this game 17-14. If we give up a big play blitzing, so be it, but we HAVE to get to him. That will lead to big plays in our favor and give us a chance to get ahead and then run the ball down their throats, or have them come up in the box and play action them with the deep ball. I see a long td for mr curtis this week in addition to more balls for the Klopper since i assume that they will double holt.

I believe that they will do their best to commit to the run and if we can stop them and force them into passing over and over, they are vulnerable with their current o line.

ramming speed to all
