Bartell had a good year for a bad team. He was also beaten long a number of times. My concern is our paying #1 corner salary to a less than top notch corner.

I really think Bartell is at best a 5 mil player, paying him more than 7 mil per year is way too much. Remember for three years we couldn't decide if he was a corner or a safety. Now, he is a top notch corner...nope.

Sign bartell, but don't break the bank for him. If we are to pay top dollar go for McFadden.

Oh yea, it's those types of plays that make a player "worth" 7M a year. Those types of play get lost in fold because he played on a poor team ...

If he played for the Patriots, you'd see that play replayed for years to come ....

#1 you can't see a Corner's value on TV, you have to be there in person.

#2 most people that go to the games dont know how to watch the corner.

While his skills don't compare to Nnamdi's, Bartell IS in the same league with CB's that are making $8-$10 Mill.

I don't want to pay any player that kind of of money, but the market price being paid by the other 31 teams determine what level of skill the team can afford.

The Rams re-signed Bartell for less than market price.

Who do you think is available for $5 Mill a year that is as good as Bartell?
