After the 2005 St. Louis Rams completed their first day of training camp, the team announced Thursday night that second-round draft pick
Ron Bartell had agreed to a four-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bartell was the 50th overall selection in the 2005 NFL Draft out of Howard University. The cornerback is the ninth player of the Rams' 11-player draft class to sign with the team. First-round pick
Alex Barron (tackle) and third-round selection
Richie Incognito (guard) have yet to agree to terms with the Rams.
It was not known when Bartell would report to training camp. This year, the Rams are holding their preseason camp at Rams Park in Earth City.
