Oh no, GC, you suck! It'll take all day before that song gets out of my head! Thanks a lot, dude.

Re: Before you panic about Bates, consider Henderson

Guys, seriously though, a little research on Henderson may get a few people excited. His first year in NY, he had the Jets playing at the highest of levels. They were a top 5 D. This year, injuries and a 3-and-out-Offense, slid the D back into the pack, but they were still 12th in yardage allowed. Before that, he was Billick's secondary coach in Baltimore and with the exception of 2002, when has the Ravens D NOT looked great?

It's not a simple run around D like Lovie's, so the guys will have to do their homework. However, it's not the read-and-react kind of complex that Marmie brought in, it's a multiple formation, and aggressive blitzing complex that will require a lot of discipline from the front 7 (front 8 counting the SS). To go with that, he tends to keep his corners in man, so Butler, Fisher, Groce, and Bartell will have to step up their coverage skills.

And for those fans that keep clamoring for the introduction of the 3-4 instead of our current 4-3.......Henderson runs a hybrid 3-4 / 4-3. With our current personnel, we could see more of Little and Hargrove in the OLB positions, D-Lew on the End, and Pickett/Kennedy rotating over center. And the part that will make some squeal like 12-year-old girls at an N'Sync concert.......he would probably look to draft one of those now famous "tweeners".

Terrrific post hubison, excellent perspective. However, the only END we are going to see on dlewis is his rear end going out the door. Although i do agree that the shot to the gonads was one of the highlights/lowlights from a dismal season.

Lewis was serviceable as a back-up this year and we can probably re-sign him cheap. I bet he stays.

Well Henderson is the best available DC out there right now. I would hope the Rams make a decision this week and get things rolling.
