    Bernie on the FA's

They don't like any of the FAs that much.

They sort of liked Traylor but he signed back with Miami.

I was told "the guys we already have must get better, like Indianapolis did."

They like Carriker and think he can play DE or DT.

Maybe they pick up one of these DTs late in FA when the price is lower.

    I really don't know.

    Re: Bernie on the FA's

    My interview with Bernie:

AvengerRam: "So, who do you think is on the Rams' radar right now?"

    Bernie: "I really don't know."

AvengerRam: "Okay. Well, in a recent article, you criticized the Rams for not pursuing some of the available players in free agency. The team seems to believe there aren't any good values out there. Who do you see as a good value?"

    Bernie: "I really don't know."

AvengerRam: "And yet, you called the Rams' irresponsible. Don't you think that if you're going to use your platform to criticize the Front Office, you should at least have some concrete suggestions on how to improve?"

    Bernie: "I really don't know."

    AvengerRam: "What's 2 + 2?"

    Bernie: "I really don't know."

AvengerRam: "Okaaaaay.... well, let me conclude by asking if you know of any reason that Rams fans should not consider you an egotistical, lazy, obnoxious, windbag who cares only about stirring things up and making a name for himself?"

    Bernie: "I really don't know."

man, why do we even post anything Bernie says on here. You guys crucify him everytime he says something and when he doesn't you crucify him anyway.

Bernie, screw reporting on the Rams. The fans don't appreciate it. Just cover the Cardinals. Let the fans hear what they want to hear.

Well, if the Rams aren't going to sign anyone to anything on the FA market, start shoring up the core players now. The salary cap isn't Cingular Wireless now the new AT&T, there aren't any carryovers from this year to next year. If you have room under the cap that you could feed every third world country but don't like what is being served, then lock up Holt until he retires. Extend Jackson, Little, and shoot even give Bulger some more jack.
