He just went off the radar completely..Never was a big fan of him,yet he is a better player than T.Fisher..Sick of the sight of that guy,hopefully he won't be back next year..He has had his chance and he isn't up to the challenge..:l

i can believe that 3 years ago, butler was in martz's dog house too...

i'm inclined to believe there's a connection or a pattern of behaviour there...

He's two years removed from being anything good. He had a serious leg injury and then just got buried on our depth chart. It's hard to see him as having much value at this point.

I'm sure some team would trade a 7th or even 6th Round pick for him, I mean didn't Manu get traded for a 4th Last year? Or maybe a 3rd.

Maybe a sixth or seventh rounder, but I dunno. Manu didn't basically sit out for two years before being traded though. Most teams likely will know that Butler isn't going to be on this team in 2007 so we're really not in a position to get much.

I'd put the feelers out but I don't think we're going to hear anything back. He hasn't done anything significant in two years, is coming off of a major leg injury, and is looking at a 2007 salary of $2 million. None of this spells interest from other teams in my book. I guess you can never say never, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it happened.

I'm with you on that one 81 Butler IMO was a better corner than Fisher so if Butler's going I hope he takes Fisher with him.
