Bernie on the radio
Thomas said Butler was a no show at the end of the year team meeting and he put his house up for sale.

Re: Bernie on the radio
I still cant beleive that 2 years ago, Butler led us in INTs, he was a atarter, and then this year, he was our 5th or 4th CB after Hill, Bartell, Brown, and Fisher earlier in the season, looks like he's leaving

Re: Bernie on the radio
The odds of butler being on the rams roster next year are exactly the same as martz being our head coach.

Re: Bernie on the radio
He just went off the radar completely..Never was a big fan of him,yet he is a better player than T.Fisher..Sick of the sight of that guy, hopefully he won't be back next year..He has had his chance and he isn't up to the challenge..:l

Re: Bernie on the radio
i can believe that 3 years ago, butler was in martz's dog house too...
i'm inclined to believe there's a connection or a pattern of behaviour there...
maybe butler just needs a new scene to flourish again...

Re: Bernie on the radio
The only play I can remember him in on this year was one of Hester's KR TDs. He was the end guy who failed to stay in his lane and allowed Hester to get turn the corner.
Time to move on without him.

Re: Bernie on the radio
IMO Hill, Brown, and Bartell are our starting CB's next season. See ya JB, and TF.

Hopefully we'll trade him, rather than cut him.

Re: Bernie on the radio
He's two years removed from being anything good. He had a serious leg injury and then just got buried on our depth chart. It's hard to see him as having much value at this point.

Re: Bernie on the radio
I'd put the feelers out but I don't think we're going to hear anything back. He hasn't done anything significant in two years, is coming off of a major leg injury, and is looking at a 2007 salary of $2 million. None of this spells interest from other teams in my book. I guess you can never say never, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it happened.
