Bernie--Rams after Cottrell
Ted Cottrell?
He could be the Rams' defensive line coach.
Rams trying to get him.
This would be a terrific hire.

Re: Bernie--Rams after Cottrell
That'd be a great pick-up. First you get Haslett with head coaching experience as your D coordinator, and then to get Cottrell who has D coordinator experience as your line coach. That's a good tactic for a younger inexperienced coach.

Re: Bernie--Rams after Cottrell
I agree Nick. I did not want him as the DC, but I will gladly take him as line coach.

Careful what you wish for. if he takes the dline job now, after haslett returns us to a top 10 defense and we win the superbowl next year, he will get a head coaching job and cottrell will take over as coordinator.

Re: Bernie--Rams after Cottrell
Maybe it is just me but is it possible to have too many guys with DC experience? That puts three on our staff if we get him
