So The Rams have after years of dismal performances managed to go a whole year without losing to either the Cardinals or Whiners. Now a sweep of the Seahags would make this season that much better. Undefeated in the NFC BEST!

For me, the Best Win in the last 10 years, would be January 2005 playoff victory in seattle to complete the season sweep!

For me it was 2004 in OT Vs. the Seahawks. Bulger to McDonald for the LONG TD bomb and the Rams Victory.

I find it interesting...the NFC West all got themselves defenses...the NFC West teams play against each other as if the games where the Superbowl. In the end playing each other tough each and every game will make the NFC West one of the toughest divisions to play in. Imagine when the Rams shore up a couple weak spots on defense and get themselves an offense to match their D....OH YAH!

I think its great we are currently undefeated in the division, but let's not get carried away. EVERY game counts- you don't get extra points for divisional wins, so being 4-0 in the division makes it that much more frustrating we haven't taken care of business quite as well outside the division.

That said, I agree with the original post. Today was absolutely a great win against a quality opponent- something we've been missing for the better part of a decade.

Since the Rams victories have not been coming in batches recently, i revel and enjoy each one of them like a fine rare wine......

Over the past 5 years, i forgot what it felt like to watch my team pucnh another in the mouth. A team that pushes the other team back. A team that no longer is looking to get on the bus or to the locker room vs. looking to destroy. A team that DOES not give up....



Now, add to it against the WHINERS!! That magnifies my enjoyment 10 fold! I despise all THINGS WHINERS. And I love it when they get whupped !! BUT it is simply awe inspriring when MY TEAM takes them to the wood shed. THANK YOU ST LOUIS RAMS

Yeah, that was the first of the 3 game sweep that year. It was also the Rams first win in seahawks stadium.

However...

I'm not feeling that regular season win on the road in October is bigger than the playoff win on the road in January.

It starts by wining games in your division. If you can beat the teams in your division and win a few outside should get you in the playoffs. To beat all the teams like we have is huge for this team IMO.

No doubt it would be huge to go undefeated in our division, particularly since there's not one anywhere in the world, who thought this would be possible at the start of the season.

Ok, lets just say best win since Linehan took over. We did have some pretty good wins before he came along and everything went to heck.

We have a pretty darn good defense. It's kept up it's end of the bargain. 22 points in last 2 games and held field position as well as any in the league. Now, about that low scoring offense. hmmm
